Dermakurve is a West Didsbury based business which promotes overall well being to help your body (and therefore mind), whilst maintaining a natural appearance.

Dr Rose Kogie-Henshall, the founder of DermaKurve, has a background in medicine and law. After qualifying in 1990, Rose worked as a consultant in the field of critical care and emergency medicine, working in hospitals in both Wigan and Warrington. She also studied in Glasgow, and has a degree in Medical Law. Since becoming a wife and mother, Rose has trained in aesthetics, enabling her to focus on DermaKurve, the business she now operates from her West Didsbury clinic.

As well as Medicine and Law, Rose has a passion for Art - especially design and sculpture - and the combination of these loves has seen the growth of DermaKurve. She is very clear that DermaKurve is not about "redesigning". It is about subtle transformations, that leave clients feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, in as natural a way as possible.

Operating from her clinic, Rose feels that a key benefit is that she can offer her clients more time. She is very aware that people can be anxious about treatments and so she is able to provide a very comfortable, relaxed and discreet environment. She has a concern for the whole person, not just the area for treatment - and so has created treatment rooms which are homely. She can also offer the services of her own personal assistant or nanny, on the premises, therefore enabling clients to take advantage of treatment times which other clinics may not be able to offer. Initial consultations (approximately 30-40 minutes) are free of charge.

Rose is very much a "people" person and is keenly interested in talking with her clients to arrive at the best possible solutions. She is aware that often a client's desire to make a physical change, can often result from something deeper-seated. She understands that emotions, hormones, child birth etc can affect a person's view of themselves and so she will take the time to understand her client.

Once a course of action has been decided upon, between Rose and her client, there are a variety of treatments available, including endermologie (a natural non-invasive procedure), fillers, Botox®, skin peels and health advice.
