Welcome to The Magic Cupboard, Didsbury's independent purveyor of vintage fabric wall hangings.
The Magic Cupboard specialises in sourcing vintage fabric from the 1960s and 1970s and creating fabulous wall hangings. They are bright, bold, unique pieces of art and will make a stunning addition to your home, work place or office. Fabrics are sourced from all over the world and hangings are hand made so that each one is unique.
The Magic Cupboard cleans all the fabrics and stretches them over bespoke wooden frames which they make themselves. Many of the fabrics have been around for over 40 years and occasionally if the material is very fragile, muslin backing will be added onto the frame to help the look and maintain the longevity of the fabric.
Stock is regularly updated on The Magic Cupboard web site - and you can purchase wall hangings on line. If a panel you really like has been sold, it is always worth contacting the company as they may well have more fabric of the same or a similar pattern.
