Lollicakes! A Didsbury-based cake company with a twist. Not only do we deliver our freshly baked cupcakes to the people of Manchester, Cheshire and beyond, but we are also proud to be the first bakers to bring Lollicakes (alternaitvely known as cake pops) to the North West!

Rest assured all of our cakes are baked and decorated by hand, using the finest ingredients the Lollicakes girls can find. We have gone to great lengths to find you the freshest, locally sourced ingredients and our eggs are always free range. What makes us special is that we've spent a lot of time (and money from the Lollicakes piggy bank) scouring all corners the globe for our secret recipe – our cakes really are that good, and tasting is believing!

Lollicakes are Laura (fashionista and glamorous cake discoverer with a childhood nickname of Lolly) and Katy (pinny-sporting baker from an early age, known amongst her family as Cakey). We know it seems too good to be true that Lolly should meet Cakey but it actually happened and 'BAM!' Lollicakes was born.

These mouth-watering cakes on a stick are a quirky alternative to the traditional cupcake - the perfect edible treat you’ve just got to try. In fact, we think they’re so good we named our company after them!

The Americans know what they're doing when it comes to cake, after all, isn't it thanks to Carrie Bradshaw visiting New York's Magnolia Bakery that the cupcake is as famous as it is today? It’s no surprise then that when Laura discovered this little chap on a trip to the Big Apple she couldn’t wait to introduce him to her friends in the UK.

Each & every lollicake/cakepop is hand made, hand-painted and hand-decorated using rich, mouth-watering chocolate cake. This is blended with creamy chocolate frosting, dipped in yet more chocolate and decorated in a variety of pretty sprinkles and glitter. It’s not quite a cake, not just a truffle – you really do have to try one!

They are perfect for all occasions, why not do something a little different for your wedding day? We offer a selection of our delicious Lollicakes as wedding favours or even as a quirky alternative to the cake centrepiece itself! Our lollicake/cakepop bouquets are also popular for hen do’s, kids parties, christenings, retirements, office parties or corporate events... the list goes on, its just not a party in our book without cake!

Here at Lollicakes all of our cupcakes are baked to order using our secret recipe and hand decorated in our Didsbury kitchen.

We are constantly dreaming up new flavours to add to our already extensive menu and we believe we’ve got something here for everyone to enjoy, whatever your cup of tea (or plate of cake, as it were). Take it from us, you haven’t tasted cupcakes until you’ve tried a Lollicakes cupcake!
