It literally feels like two weeks since the madness that was last year’s Valentine's Day. Our lasting memory of Valentines 2011 has to be the steady stream of - dare we say it - men, flowing through the doors at 5.30pm (we close at 5pm) requesting that extra special box of cakes. Alas we had sold out long before! So, if you think cake is the way to your loved one’s heart, we’ve a cracking cake line-up going on at And The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon here in West Didsbury.

Afternoon Tea served all weekend (Saturday 11th February and Sunday12th February) as well as on Tuesday 14th February - please note that reservations are required people as we expect to be very busy...

We'll have a cakey, lovey dovey menu served all weekend, including passion cake, red velvet cake and our very popular mini heart victoria sponges

If you're a biscuit fan, we'll be having our own extra special Jammie Dodgers

There will also be a lovely selection of gifts including peppermint creams, scented teacup candles and brownie baking kits

You can also win afternoon tea for two people courtesy of us and our friends, right here at Didsbury Life - although we strongly suggest you buy your beau something else, as a freebie present probably wouldn’t go down so well!
