And The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon, our very cutesy cake cafe on Burton Road is going to be turning green, and then red this week - all for very good reasons...

Thursday 17th March is of course St Patrick's Day and for the occasion, Anna and the team will be cooking up some special Irish themed cake goodies. There'll be bespoke cupcakes, Baileys brownies, chocolate guiness cupcakes and chocolate and mint traybakes.

The following day - Friday 18th March - is of course, the annual extrvaganza that is Red Nose Day for Comic Relief. To enter into the spirit, And The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon will be doing a variety of things during the day including the sale of specially designed Comic Relief cupcakes. Free mini red velvet cupcakes will be given to for every person who wears their red-nose into the shop when making a purchase and there will be free boxes of giftwrapped cakes (of the customers choice) for the five best jokes heard in the shop that day!10% of all takings through the shop on Friday will be dontated to Comic Relief.
