Hungry Pigeon Festival

Hungry Pigeon Festival

Northern Quarter
Manchester

Friday 28th May - Sunday 30th May

Manchester's Northern Quarter is one of the most unique districts of Manchester City Centre and is firmly established as the cultural arts centre of the city. Following a hugely successful inaugral event in 2009 which attracted over 15000 visitors to the city centre, it's happening again.

In 2010 Hungry Pigeon will put the spotlight on the creative artists and local businesses, both here in Manchester and across the UK.

With an incredible schedule of live music, live art, poetry, short films, events for under 18s, art exhibitions, busking, charity events and even its own Northern Quarter art treasure trail, Hungry Pigeon really does have something for everyone.

Spreadover 20 venues, incuding bars and cafes around the Northern Quater, Hungry Pigeon also includes a 5000 capacity outdoor stage in Piccadilly Gardens - the heart of Manchester's City Centre. Partnered with Manchester City Council and Marketing Manchester, Hungry Pigeon aims to stage an innovative, high quality event that is dedicated to offering something for everyone, while involving and promoting local businesses and raising awareness of Manchster's Northern Quarter.
