Live Jazz at The Sanctuary Every Sunday

Starting from Sunday 1st August, The Sanctuary Bar, in Didsbury Village, will be holding weekly live Jazz Nights, featuring a wide range of talented vocalists and musicians.

As a special offer, The Sanctuary will also offer a complimentary bottle of wine if four people dine on Sunday Jazz Night between 5.30pm - 9.00pm.

With the Manchester Jazz Festival currently running, this is a great time for a Didsbury venue to showcase local, and not so local, talents in the jazz world. The inaugral Jazz Night will feature Sarah Dowling (vocalist) and Andy Kingslow (pianist), both of whom have appeared at the Manchester Jazz Festival. Theirs is a rich musical partnership: Sara’s command of the voice, with her wide range and warmth of expression, paired with Andy’s versatile and animated playing - the perfect vehicle for their repertoire of original songs, Latin standards and adaptations from classical works.

Featuring different artists every Sunday, the evening begins at 6pm and The Sanctuary would like to invite you to make a night of it. With a new food menu and a new wine list, as well as a recently renovated and refurbished interior, if you haven't been for a while - or, if you've never been- Sunday Night Jazz Events will be a great way to become acquainted with The Sanctuary.

If you choose to dine with us at our Jazz Evenings, we'll also give you a complimentary bottle of wine when four people eat, between 5.30pm - 9.00pm.
