CURRENT SHOW : FIREFLIES Friday 16th - Saturday 31st October

Fireflies tells the stories of Leigh and Nelson, two lonely hearts coming face to face with the reality of their lives. Told with a fierce frankness, this darkly comic and moving script brilliantly conveys their resilience in the face of hardship. Will Leigh and Nelson see each other's signals in time?

With Fireflies The Lowry proudly continues its commitment to developing imaginative theatre inspired by local places, people and events. This impressive multi-media production combines text with film and computer graphics to create visually stunning storytelling and a uniquely theatrical experience.

Savagely humorous, this gripping new play is brought to you by one of the North West's leading playwrights, Kevin Fegan, and theatre/TV director Noreen Kershaw, one of the directors of the hit Channel 4 series Shameless.
