Jamie Wallace Guitar Tuition

I started playing guitar aged 13. Initially self taught, I was soon performing with local bands. Whilst studying A level music I was fortunate enough to have a great teacher who broadened my musical horizons and inspired me to pursue music as a full time career. Further studies took me to Newcastle College where I graduated with a degree in Jazz Popular and Commercial Music in 2003.

In the last six years I have taught guitar in various settings both privately and commercially as well as taking part in a wide array of musical projects. Current projects include a full-time function band and my own acoustic jazz quartet 'Gypsies of Bohemia'.

As a a teacher I'm calm, patient and friendly and provide a relaxed atmosphere where students of all ages and abilities can grow musically.

Over my playing and teaching career I have attained a wealth of teaching materials and resources and am fully familiar the Rockschool Grade exam syllabus.

LESSONS

I teach from my home in Chorlton as well as offering home visits if more convenient for you. Lesson prices are 1 hour [£22.00] and 30 minutes [£14.00].
