Rock Over Climbing

Rock Over Climbing is run by Tom Stewart, who's passion for the mountains is infectious. Having been climbing for the last 15 years I have climbed throughout the UK, Europe and North America, where my passion is for big alpine routes. However I can still be found at every opportunity climbing at the gritstone edges and quarry's of the peak district.

Having worked in the outdoors for the past 12 years, with various centres and providers such as Plas Menai, 'National Watersports Centre for Wales', Arthog Outdoor Education Centre and Surflines. I bring to your courses a wealth of teaching and personal experience, which is used to make your day as fun, safe and interesting as possible.

We are a friendly, flexible and experienced provider of climbing, mountaineering instruction and guiding. We aim to tailor to your needs, and provide you with a safe and fun environment in which to explore the mountains. We offer rock climbing, scrambling and hill walking courses as well as many other activities such as summer and winter guided climbing, sport climbing, winter skills and walking, ski touring, alpine guiding and more. As well as the advertised courses we can organise varying length adventures to suit your needs. With our network of experienced and qualified associates we can organise and run guided winter climbing, winter skills and walking courses, sport climbing trips abroad, ski touring and ski/snowboarding private tuition and much, much more.

Course dates

To maintain a flexible approach, we do not dictate specific course dates. When you contact us with your course/activity request please state your preferred dates and we will endeavour to meet your needs. To keep prices as low as possible we may fill empty places with other clients.
