Silver Apples on Orchard Street

Silver Apples threw open its doors in November 2008. We are a Budapest-café culture inspired teashop and music/arts venue offering freshly made sandwiches, soups, continental platters, delicious cakes (as supplied in the past to Kro Bar and Folk on Burton Road before becoming exclusive), warming one-pots, gourmet pies, fair-trade coffees, fantastic world beers and live music in a cosy, welcoming setting.

We are also the home of live folk, blues and world music every week, we sell strong Belgian beer, Cask ales, fine wine, the best Cakes in Manchester, gourmet pies, plum gin, absinthe and much more.

Vibe

Quirky artifacts, fantastically weird artwork, twinkling vintage glass beaded lampshades, an old honky tonk piano and our own mini library residing on a windowsill are just some of the reasons why we are THE place to be in West Didsbury.

Apples beyond The Orchard

Not only can you enjoy our culinary delights in The Apples, we also provide an outside catering service from buffets with a modern twist through to large scale Moroccan Stews, chilli, paellas and much more. Alongside this we provide a bespoke bakery service specialising in cupcake towers, from a dozen through to 300 (or more if you’re greedy!).
