David Evans: An Exhibition of New Work

Wednesday 14th September - Saturday 8th October: We are very excited to present this solo exhibition of new work by David Evans. David's work has been very popular over the past few years in mixed and small group exhibitions. We are now pleased to be able to feature a large selection of work in his first solo show with the Wendy J Levy Gallery. "The underlining inspiration for a good deal of my new work comes from the re-working of quite traditional themes found in the history of art, literature, poetry and music. In visual terms, and if such a gap exists, some of my work occupies the margins between fine art and illustration.

Sifting through observations, ideas and responses I see life and my surroundings in this quirky and whimsical way."
