July 2009 Exhibition - Recent Additions Selected Artists

We are delighted that Darren Baker has chosen Wendy Levy to be his North West agent/representative and are happy to be showing a good selection of his work in this exhibition. Darren has been commissioned to paint H.M. The Queen's official portrait for her 85th birthday.

Although relatively young, Darren has been enjoying a very successful artistic career for some time now. He has received many commissions from the Professional Footballers' Association and a large painting by this extraordinary artist has recently been unveiled at the New Children's Hospital in Manchester.

A warm welcome is also given to Don Mckinlay , the well-established painter, etcher and sculptor, who is exhibiting several ink drawings and collages with us for the first time. Another first-time exhibitor at this gallery is Paul Czainski whose fascinating paintings trick the eye.

Janina Cebertowicz is showing wonderful paintings of Symi in Greece and Newport Estuary, whilst Jonathan Hargreaves shows the versatility of his expertise in a selection of paintings and silkscreens.

Also on show is work from the remarkable Romanian artist Teodora Pica who very recently had a successful solo exhibition at the National Museum of Fine Arts Cluj-Napoca in Romania.

The work of Nigel Caple from London is also included.
