April 09 Exhibition - Peter Blake

The Wendy J Levy Gallery will be buzzing in April with the arrival of Marilyn Monroe, the Beatles, Kim Novak and Mickey Mouse, all courtesy of Sir Peter Blake.

We are delighted to present this exciting collection of iconic silkscreen prints to the public. This major exhibition from one of the best-known British artists of his generation is an incredible opportunity to purchase and admire pieces of cultural history, from ‘Summer Days’ the famous Coca-Cola commission to poster pin-ups of ‘Marilyn Monroe’.

Blake’s work last visited the Northwest when the Tate Liverpool presented a retrospective of his work in 2007, and now prints, including the iconic 1967 Beatles album cover for Sergeant Pepper, will be exhibited at the Wendy Levy Gallery from 3rd – 29th April 2009.
