I had a consultation with Mike at the end of April 2007 in an attempt to get beach gorgeous before my 2 week beach summer holiday for the end of July. I was not looking for a long-term commitment and loosing weight was not a pressing issue for me, I just needed to tone up in just under 3 months and return to my ‘normal’ life.

In the shorter term Mike showed a keen interest and understanding of both my exercise and my dietary needs. He clearly explained effective ways of achieving my short-term goal and even challenged me to long-term prospects. It has been 12 months and needless to say I’m still going on the bandwagon with Mike and growing from strength to strength.

To date, I have lost over 2 stone in weight and that is all body fat and continuing to drop, my energy levels and general well being is at a constant peak. I also used to experience constant aches on my left knee for which I had been referred to physiotherapy, however Mike assessed it and recommended a stretching regime for my knees, which has made a world of difference and greatly relieved my pain to almost zero right now. I look good and feel great and this has given me confidence to pursue the active lifestyle I’ve always wanted.

Mike makes training fun and with the constant encouragement he gives me, I intend to keep this up for a long time to come.

I have been a member of one gym or another for the last 10 years.
I had started to play 5 a side football again after a long layoff. I immediately started to have problems with pulled muscles particularly with the hamstrings.

I met with my Body Planner and I explained about my issues with my hamstrings.

Since the initial session Mike has developed various forms of workouts that have helped to improve my hamstrings strength and improve my fitness as a whole whilst ensuring that the sessions never become repetitive or boring.

I thought my knowledge of exercise and fitness was good. However Mike has introduced excellent new techniques that have improved my work out and my fitness ten fold. I no longer have the issues that I did with my hamstrings and my performance on the football pitch is noticeable in a large improvement.

The sessions are hard and Mike will continue to push you to reach your goals. Mike also continues to revaluate your ambitions and objectives so that your aims are always being reassessed.

I now realise that an individual will rarely push themselves to the maximum intensity without support. I now achieve this level because of the service that Mike offers and know that I would not have succeeded had it not been for his help and expertise. I would thoroughly recommend a personal trainer to achieve your goals and particularly Mike Bach.

I have always had an interest in sport and tried to stay in pretty good shape, and as such have trained for a number of years. However, I had a spell of around 18-24 months where I did very little exercise and subsequently gained a bit of weight. Suitably annoyed with myself I recommenced training and over 6 months or so made what I thought was decent progress in terms of getting back into shape.

One evening I met Mike, a personal trainer where following a brief discussion with him regarding aims and goals with my training, I arranged an initial session with him for later in the week.

As I mentioned earlier, I had trained for a number of years so felt I had a pretty good understanding of exercise techniques. I was soon to find out just how limited my knowledge was! The very first session introduced routines that I’d never considered and left me just the right side of exhausted, with Mikes talent for motivation meaning that there was always “one more rep” left in the tank.

In the months that followed, the effort that Mike managed to get from me, coupled with his broad understanding of physiology and training, meant that very satisfactory results came quicker than ever before. Training with him and following the bespoke routines that he’d prepared led to a leaner body, better muscle definition and much improved levels of all round fitness. Every 4-6 weeks a new set of routines was compiled, meaning that I was always on my toes and never complacent. Mike’s friendly attitude and way of pushing you that little bit further meant that getting fit was a pleasurable experience.

Whatever your level of fitness, Mike will have the background, skills and knowledge to help you improve.
