Times of Services



Sunday services begin at 10.00am with Eucharist (All Age Service 1st Sunday in the month) and at the same time, the Geese and Goslings Sunday Club. At 6.30pm we have Choral Evensong.



Each Wednesday at 10.00am we celebrate the Eucharist followed by Coffee.



On the first Saturday of each month, at 10.00am, we celebrate the Book of Common Prayer Eucharist followed by coffee. Each subsequent Saturday during the month, at 10.00am. we have Morning Prayer followed by coffee.

On weekdays Morning and Evening Prayer are said daily in church at 9.00am and 6.00pm respectively (except Mondays).

About St Werburghs

Our church is based on a desire to serve both God and the community. We are gradually updating both our church building and hall to make them even more accessible to the general public and friendly to those with special needs.

We welcome families who bring children for baptism. We also provide preparation for adults who wish to make a commitment to Christ through baptism or confirmation. Our church is also used for weddings by those who live in the parish or who have some connection with the church.

Both our hall and our church are bookable for events. The church is especially suitable for concerts and exhibitions. The hall is used by a wide range of groups from ballet dancing to kick boxing. There is also a stage and dressing room area.
