Ivy Manchester is gearing up for the festive season with a whole range of Christmas events in Didsbury. All of the following events are held at Ivy Manchester Church, 97 Barlow Moor Road, Didsbury M20 2GP

Nativity Making - Saturday 11th December



Bring your family to an afternoon of festive fun making a nativity scene. This great activity is for ages 3 - 14, and parents of course, on Saturday 11th December from 1.30pm - 4.00pm. All craft materials will be provided, but a donation is requested on entry. There will be a chance to display your nativity scenes at The Wythenshawe Forum on Sunday 19th December. Bring a friend - everyone’s invited!

Carols at The Trafford Centre - Sunday December 12th

The Ivy Manchester Community Choir will be performing on stage at The Trafford Centre on December 12th. Take a break from your Christmas shopping to listen to some Christmas classics sung by the Ivy Manchester Community Choir. Performances are at 1.00pm and 4.00pm.

Deck Chair Cinema - Saturday 18th December

Bring a chair and watch a family Christmas Classic on the big screen at Ivy. We’ll be watching ‘The Polar Express’ (U). Entry is free but donations are requested for refreshments - hot chocolate, mince pies, mulled wine and popcorn will be available. Everybody welcome! Doors open at 3.00pm and the film starts at 3.30pm.

The Big Nativity - Friday 24th December

Come along to our Nativity service dressed as a character from the Christmas story and take part in re-telling and celebrating it! A great family event for all ages. 2.30pm - 3.30pm on Christmas Eve. Everyone’s invited!

Carols by Candlelight - Friday 24th December

Join Ivy Manchester on Christmas Eve at 7:00pm for the carol service followed by hot drinks, mince pies and Christmas cheer!
