We are Belly Button Designs and are proud to present our Card and Gift Boutique in West Didsbury. A magical and unique place I am sure you will agree. Nestled on the leafy street of Burton Road amongst an eclectic mix of shops, bars and restaurants.

Take a trip to eclectic West Didsbury and you’ll find Burton Road, where the boutiques, trendy bars and restaurants create a vibrant, creative atmosphere that’s been the home of Belly Button Card and Gift Boutique for the last five years.

You might already know our shop but if you are not familiar then we are next door to the yummy Azzurro Restaurant. If you’re still not sure how to find us take a quick stroll and look out for our welcome sign and colourful window display - or nip down in your car, there’s plenty of free on-street parking.

Our stunning second shop in Heaton Moor is also easy to find, sitting pretty on Heaton Moor Road, opposite the Co-op. Light and airy and full to the brim, it has a vast choice of unique gifts and design-led cards. It's easy to let time float by as you gaze at the beautiful Belly Button selection.

Heart and soul

Our cards are the heart of the shop – we stock the entire Belly Button Designs range of cards, covering every occasion from Birthdays to Christenings, Weddings, Valentine’s and Get Well. We’ve even got Sorry cards if you slip up and forget! The same design values and handmade ethos that you’ll see in our cards is carried into our shop. There’s no clutter, just our beautifully designed, hand-painted cards complemented by other high-quality card ranges and an amazing selection of jewellery, soft toys and unusual gifts you won’t find in your run-of-the-mill store.

We love cards!

If you’re popping in for a card, maybe one of our best selling ‘Knickerbocker’ or 'Chi Chi’ ranges, you might be after gift bags and wrapping paper – we have those too, in outstanding designs and made from the best quality materials. We source all our stock from suppliers all over the world taking pride in listening to our customers and giving them what they wish for. Amongst the treasures we have our usual Caroline Gardner selection of cards and gift wrap.

So if you pop in you'll meet one of the Buttons who can advise on anything from cards, gifts or just a quick chat! We also have gift vouchers if you’re not quite sure!

Contemporary Gifts

Special products in stock at the moment are Orla Kiely sweet scented candles in Fig Tree and also Sage and Cassis. Fig Tree Reed Diffusers are a big hit and a perfect gift idea for birthday or Christmas. We also have Orla Kiely Gift Sets with a gorgeous fabric washbag and products inside!

Not forgetting the men in your lives, we have stocked the wonderful Bath House natural products. Another Great British company making fabulous products in Cumbria. Our favourite is the Amber and Bergamot Cologne.

For children we have a really great selection of Gruffalo products including wash mitts, flannels and bath fizzes all at great prices. Perfect stocking fillers!
