"I found Phil through a Google search rather than a personal recommendation. I wanted to increase my fitness after a period of inactivity following an injury, so I needed a personal trainer with the body mechanics knowledge I didn't have so that I could get the most out of a session whilst recovering. Although I was interested in learning new skills in this area, initially I was quite sceptical as the "ex-boxer" stereotype is not readily associated with sensitivity or awareness. I was pleasantly surprised!
Phil is professional, articulate, extremely knowledgeable in his field and has the patience of a saint! He has always been encouraging and pushes me to just the right amount, so I leave each session feeling like I've had a fantastic workout regardless of my energy levels on any given day.
I have now been training with Phil for over 8 months and in that time I have increased my fitness anc confidence, learned some invaluable skills, dropped 2 dress sizes and - importantly - had fun whilst doing it!
