Pearl's Bra Amnesty and Charity Walk 2009

This summer...get the girls together for a five mile walk through Didsbury, including three of the area's beautiful parks and gardens, get fit and raise lots of money for worthy local causes.

Get fit marching in your bra, then at the end of the walk donate it to our Bra Amnesty. All the bras will then go to Manchester Woman's Aid where they will be used in refuges and Oxfam.

Oxfam greatly appreciate bras, as they are one of the most wanted items in the third world. Oxfam can raise funds by selling bras to local traders at a low price - they can then sell them on and make a decent living for themselves.

Raise lots of money by getting as many sponsors as you can and pledging a £5 entry fee. All the money raised will go to Christie hospital right here in Didsbury.

The walk will begin at 6:30pm at Fletcher Moss Gardens on Wilmslow Road and finish at Pearl on Burton Road.
