A Little Bit About Blossom...
THE TEAM...
Becky Hay is the director of Blossom Flowers. Her floristry career began at the age of 15 as a Saturday girl in her local flower shop. Although she always knew she wanted a flower shop, she trained and worked as a Landscape Architect for 7 years which has equipped her with excellent design skills and a wealth of horticultural knowledge. In 2002 she returned to floristry and trained at the Welsh College of Horticulture before gaining a position at ‘Paula Pryke Flowers’ in London where she was heavily involved with events, demonstrations and the ‘Paula Pryke Flower School’. Becky set up Blossom in 2006 with friend and previous business partner Rachel who she met whilst working at Paula Pryke Flowers. Rachel left the business in 2008 to have a baby and has now re-located to London..

Every bouquet we create is uniquely designed by us to suit your needs. Our bouquets are beautifully gift wrapped with co-ordinating tissue paper and a natural raffia bow.
We select the very best flowers available at market on a daily basis and will endeavour to fulfil your floral requests – however unusual. Please call us to find out what the best blooms of the day are.

We can brighten up your home with fresh flowers that add colour, warmth and scent. We will design arrangements that blend and accentuate the décor in any room. Whether you want something on a weekly or monthly basis or you want a one off arrangement for a special party, please don’t hesitate to call and discuss your requirements.
At Christmas we are able to decorate your entire house to suit your style, including fully dressed trees, garlands, swags, wreaths and candlelit arrangements. This leaves you with more time to shop and enjoy the party season.

Vases & Glassware – We have a constantly changing range of vases, ceramics and glassware which complement out flowers beautifully.
Luxurious Scented Candles – Made by Arco, a British company who manufacture candles for the likes of Heals, Liberty, Molton Brown, Mulberry, Penhaligons, and Space NK. The candles are all hand finished and made in the UK using a special formulation of clean burning 100% natural wax derived from soya bean and palm oil. Each candle produces a wonderful fragrance due to their 10% scent content – one of the highest in any candle on the market – and has an impressive burning time of 40 hours.
‘Bath House’ Toiletries – The Bath House is based in Sedbergh in the Yorkshire Dales and all the products are made in the United Kingdom. The products contain natural plant extracts and are beautifully packaged making excellent gifts. We have a variety of soaps, bath salts, bath soak, body wash and hand creams. We also stock a Spanish Fig and Nutmeg range for gentlemen which includes body wash, shaving balm and cologne.
Fair Trade Jewellery – We always stock a wide selection of costume jewellery and small trinkets that are sourced by companies who work with small businesses, family firms and co-operatives in India.
Original Artwork by Lily Greenwood – Our resident artist is Manchester based Lily Greenwood whose subject matter is usually related to her love of nature, in particular butterflies and birds. We sell original canvasses (£25 - £250) as well as framed and mounted prints of her original work (£10 - £25).
