A Little Bit about Pad...
Since opening in April 2007, Pad has certainly established itself as one of Chorlton’s rather funkier shops. With its friendly, relaxed feel and stunning collection of ever changing products, it is easy to find either that perfect gift or those finishing touches that will help make your pad a home.
Pad is filled with seriously stylish homeware, including light fittings, rugs & runners, contemporary artwork, kitchen essentials and a fantastic range of traditional kid’s toys.
We source our products from all over the UK and are proud to support several London based young design teams – their candelabras, vases and mirrors are sure to gain admiring glances and be a stylish addition to any home. We are also delighted to be a stockist for Gabriella Miller hand painted pottery (gorgeous), and our ‘local art wall’ supports our many talented locally based artists by giving them the wall space to exhibit (and hopefully sell) their latest works, usually for an eight week period so our artwork really is ever changing. We are also stockists for well known names such as Innermost, Black & Blum, East of India, Nkuku, Lisa Stickley, National Science Museum (children's play kits), Sagaform homewares, Garden Trading and Temporary Measure.
At Pad, we try to source products which are not available elsewhere locally and certainly have our eye on current trends. With new products being constantly launched, the shop is always different and exciting!
Pad's Mission

The Guardian Says...
'Although it primarily sells homeware, Pad's lighting, homeware, kitchenware and other products are designed so well that they could easily be given as gifts.' The Guardian Newspaper's Guide to the UK's Finest Independent shops - Gift Shop Sector, December 2007
