Green Tea Restaurant: Testimonials
This is a cute little Chinese eatery, warm and friendly with a big heart. It only seats 20 people, but the fact it's so small gives it an intimate feel, almost as if you're eating at a friend's house.
We started with Bang Bang Chicken - shredded chicken with sesame, peanut and chilli sauce, very simple but tasty. My main was Szechuan Beef - it was also tasty but the beef was a little chewier than it should have been. This didn't stop me finishing the plate though!
As you'd imagine, the tea menu is well populated. Amongst my favourites are Ginger and Cinnamon Goji berries and Chrysanthemum tea, although the classic Green Tea is great for the digestion. Whilst it's not the most amazing Chinese restaurant I've ever tried, the atmosphere and the staff make the overall experience worthwhile.

Aww - how cute is the Green Tea Restaurant?! Its just so dinky and lovely! With only 20 covers, Green Tea treats you with so much more care than some of the behemoths in town. Offering almost 100 healthy dishes from the North East of China, cooked the Chinese family way, you also get to avoid the 'I shouldn't have eaten that' guilt!
As the name suggests, there's a special tea menu boasting more than 10 varieties, whilst the wine menu has been specially selected with bottles to complement each dish. Did I mention that it's tiny?!
