Here Come the Girls - and a Nomination...

Not only has Spring arrived in West Didsbury, so have Thyme Out's new additions - six absolute beauties, who are currently clucking happily in the sunny Secret Garden...

Yes, you can now sit down and enjoy one of Ben's Foodie Breakfasts - wild boar sauasage, dry cured smoked bacon, portabello mushrooms, slow roasted tomatoes, baked beans, toasted ciabatta and a poached, free range egg [subject to availability!] from the hens in the Thyme Out garden. These are probably the freshest eggs in Didsbury - from the coop to your table within minutes.

The six stunners are all different varieties - Speckledy, Black Rock, White Star, Bluebelle, Polish Black and Silky - and all produce different sized and different coloured eggs. They have started laying so you should be able to frequently enjoy a proper free range egg.

And - don't forget that Thyme Out has been nominated by Olives et Al for Deli of The Year. The winning Deli will be somewhere that captures the “Deli Attitude”- an outlet that displays a great approach to retail in general and champions both local and regional specialities as well as supplying ranges that meet their customers’ needs and is supported by them. It’s a place where you can go to buy food that has been clearly chosen with great care for variety, quality, flavour, provenance and fit designed to exceed expectations and run with enthusiasm and knowledge that keeps customers returning again and again.

If the above is correct, then Thyme Out ticks all the boxes. So, show your support and make sure that it, and West Didsbury, is once more on the foodie map! Click on the following link to register your vote - www.delioftheyear.co.uk
