Every Sunday, Rhubarb Restaurant, on Burton Road, West Didsbury has introduced a really fantastic Sunday Lunch Offer - two courses £13.95, 3 courses £15.95, served from noon - 5.00pm. The a la carte menu is also served all day and the great value set menu is served from 5.00pm.

Crisp goats cheese tart with caramelised onions, olives & thyme
Celeriac soup with Cox’s apple & local blue cheese
Lancashire duck & Cheshire pork, potted, served with earl grey prune puree & beetroot jelly
Goosenargh chicken liver parfait, sweet pearl onions & sourdough toast
Line caught lightly pickled mackerel with lightly pickled pears & saffron vinaigrette

Woodland mushroom pearl barley risotto served with mascarpone and a soft poached hens egg
Slow braised shoulder of lamb with creamy mash & black olive sauce
Goosenargh chicken breast with slow cooked red cabbage, parsnips & thyme
