This is a great little restaurant which is a must for all foodies. Great choice of seafood and proper Italian cuisine- a refreshing change from the average Italian chain restaurant. Would definitely recommend a visit!

This is a lovely, lovely restaurant. Proper food, properly cooked, perfect for a romantic night or an evening with friends. The staff are great. It's also within handy reach of a good pub (Metropolitan) to go for a quick drink afterwards! April 2012

I've never written a review before, but felt that Azzurro deserved to be my first. It's a wonderful little haven of terrific Italian food, and feels like the perfect antidote to all of the identikit restaurants around these days. We've been back three times, and have usually had seafood (the seabass was amazing) although the chicken also comes highly recommended. The venue is intimate, and the staff really friendly and knowledgeable. This is my favourite restaurant not just in Didsbury but in the whole of Manchester, and I wish it every success. April 2012

Living in Didsbury i am spoilt to have Azzurro on my doorstep...
The food is just delicious and the continually changing menu keeps you interested.
Emile and his staff are very warm and welcoming and if you are unsure what to order they will recomend and trust me you will not be disappointed.

Beautifully presented, fantastic tasting food. This little restaurant is a triumph! The food is delicious and the attitude of the staff is most welcoming. We had a lovely night in a calm and relaxed environment. We would definitely go again.

We've been going to this restaurant since it opened and it is still one of our favourite restaurants in West Didsbury. This small restaurant has no pretensions it just serves good Italian food in a welcoming environment. The specials board often has great fish dishes, especially the sea bass which is always exceptional, but the dishes on the special deals menus are also great. The seafood linguine is a favourite of mine and when you can get it on the “£15.99 for two courses with a bottle of wine per couple” deal it’s even better. The owner has recently started doing the cooking after several years looking after the front of the house. At first I was worried that the food would suffer, but not only did he maintain the standards but it keeps getting better. Its two weeks since I been so I think I need to go tonight, I really fancy their Pork Milanese and a nice bottle of wine. So if you fancy Italian food in South Manchester, give the big chain restaurants a miss and try this lovely family owned restaurant. I promise you one visit and it will become a firm favourite.
