For West Didsbury's And The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon, it literally feels like two weeks since the madness that was last year’s Valentine's Day. According to them, their lasting memory of Valentines 2011 has to be the steady stream of - dare they say it - men, flowing through the doors at 5.30pm (they close at 5pm) requesting that extra special box of cakes. Alas they had sold out long before! So, if you think cake is the way to your loved one’s heart, they have a cracking cake line-up going on...

Afternoon Tea served all weekend (Saturday 11th February and Sunday12th February) as well as on Tuesday 14th February - please note that reservations are required people as they expect to be very busy...

They will also have a cakey, lovey dovey menu served all weekend, including passion cake, red velvet cake and their very popular mini heart victoria sponges
