A Snapshot of Didsbury Life...

Ok, this may or not work. Inspired by those determined and organised individuals who set out to do a blog a day - and achieve it, we've gone for a slightly less onerous option, although one that still may fall at the first hurdle.

Having had some fairly spectacular winter sunsets recently, we've decided to try and photograph the Didsbury skyline, from the same spot, at round about the same time each day throughout the year. (Latest film strip at top...). We definitely won't end up with 366 shots, as we only started doing this in sequence on Wednesday 25th and there will be days when we aren't in the right location, so may have to improvise if not too far away.

However, if we can mostly keep it up, it'll be a great way of recording the daily (and seasonal) changes in Didsbury - and perhaps, hopefully, (fingers crossed), dispel the myth that it rains all the time in Manchester. So, here we go - and let's see how long it lasts...
