A VOLUNTEER position has arisen with Didsbury Civic Society, who, along with other groups stage manage musical events and public meetings throughout the year including The Open Stage event as part of Didsbury Arts Festival, Didsbury Guitar Trial, Didsbury Car Show, and the Didsbury Village Christmas Carols & Ligts Events. The company also supplies audio erquipment and run the stages and musical control.
The current volunteer has retired and now another volunteer is required, who has the expertise to fit together all the kit and run the mixing desk during events. The company has 4 Wharfdale Speakers, (powered) mike stands, 3 wired mikes, 2 radio mikes, a large new mixing desk, projector, screen etc. They have storage facilities plus physical help and a member provides transport.
