Saturday 6th March

Tune in to Radio 4’s ‘Saturday Live’ 9.00am – 10.00am. Fi Glover’s Poet in Residence, Luke Wright, will be appearing at The Albert on Thursday April 8th. Tune in to hear just how funny he is!

Tickets can be bought in advance from the bar – Members £5, visitors £6.

Sunday 7th March

If you haven’t registered for Poker Night yet, do so quickly as the places are filling up! £7.50 in advance, pay at the bar. Will you be a winner this month?

Wednesday 10th March

Manchester Utd v AC Milan - Champions' League - on the big screen. Kick off at 5.45pm

Saturday 13th March

Six Nations Rugby on the big screen - Scotland v England. Kick off at 5.00pm.

Monday 15th March - MEMBERS' ONLY - sorry!

Two talented and creative local chefs are offering an evening of gourmet dining for Albert Club members. Bill Mills – Head Chef at Charango, Chorlton, and formerly Head Chef at Rhubarb, Burton Rd and Ben Crawford, Sous Chef at Charango, formerly Sous Chef at Ostara have created a menu to rival anything you may see on Masterchef. At £17.50 for 3 courses and served by experienced waiters in the comfort of the Albert Club it will be a ‘must’ for all foodies. A range of fine Reserve wines will be available to accompany each mouthwatering item.

Champions' League - Barcelona v Stuttgart / Bordeaux v Olympiacos. Kick-off at 7.45pm

Saturday 20th March

Pressure Drop is back at the Albert Club – get dancing the night away to Gregg’s finely tuned mixture of Classic Rock’n’Roll, Indie Pop, 60s, Northern Soul, Glam Rock, Disco, New Wave, Motown, Punk, Reggae – even Hip Hop and Electronica if it keeps you on the move. From 9.00pm. Members £2.50 Visitors £3.50.

Sunday 21st March

Those who enjoyed C.P.Lee’s afternoon of vintage comedy at the Arts Festival will be delighted to know he’s presenting another. Apart from the full length feature film ‘School for Randle’ starring Frank Randle, he’ll be showing some short clips and giving some history and background in his own highly entertaining way.
