Snooker Xmas Handicap - Entry Closing Date October 19th
Novices will receive generous handicaps so all members are welcome to enter, rounds are only one frame apart from the final which is three, and entry forms are on the snooker room notice board. Entrance Fee - £3
Sunday 18 October : Fun Quiz with Grub
Always tricky and cunning, lots of big screen pictures but not so hard that every team can’t have a crack at it! And there are always plenty of prizes, even if we don’t win them. Members £2/Visitors £3. Hotpot £2.50
Monday 26 October - More Serious Quiz
Mike brings out the big guns for the hard one and seems to attract a few all-female teams nowadays! No time for eating with this hard one - this is just raw concentration and focus. Members £2, Visitors £3.
Friday 30 October - The Albert Hallowe'en Extravaganza
We're having a brilliant double Hallowe'en party. 6.30pm-8.30pm, there'll be lots of fun for the under tens with a disco, games, fancy dress prizes, hotdogs and lots of treats to keep those tiny terrors entertained! Then, from 9.00pm, the adults get to party till beyond the witching hour. More fancy dress prizes, some spooky fun activities, food and a disco. FREE to members and their friends.
SPECIAL ADVANCE NOTICE
In a great coup for the Albert Club, Martin Stephenson will be appearing on Saturday 28 November. Tickets will be going on sale shortly at £6.50 for members, £8.50 for visitors - also available at Didsbury Life. In the unlikely event of there being any left on the day they’ll be £10 on the door.
