
A Literary Feast at Oxfam, Didsbury
Now you don't need to travel to Hay-on-Wye to experience the wonderful world of literature. Pop down to Didsbury's Oxfam 4th-17th July and hear some of the country's foremost writers reading from a selection of their works.
The festival opens on Saturday 4th July with West Didsbury's Carol Ann Duffy, the country's first female poet laureate and much respected GCSE poet, performing her works. A £5.00 admission charge applies to this event - tickets are selling very quickly so it is advisable to head down to Oxfam now!
