Creative Space - A Musical Collaborative Project

CREATIVE SPACE is a project set up by musicians from JazzWorks band to give bands and performance artists the opportunity to create their own evening in a local pub - The White Swan, Green Street, Ladybarn, Manchester M14 6TL. It is hoped that the scheme will help both the musicians, and the pub. It will also be a networking opportunity in the wider musical scene.

Friday 17th September - The Trefor Owen Guitar Duo

Trefor Owen and Andy Hulme. Celebrated international jazz guitarist Trefor Owen with outstanding young player Andy Hulme play a sophisticated blend of the "American Song Book". Not to be missed.

Friday 24th September 8.45pm - The Rink Street Quartet

Howard Keable (tenor sax), Mike Lees (guitar), Alan Watson (bass), James Coote (drums). Swing, jazz and funk standards.

Friday 1st October 8.45pm - Jazztastic

Alan Sennet (trumpet/flugelhorn), Sam Lewis (tenor and soprano saxes), Gary Taylor (bass guitar), Elias Kacomanolis (drums). original compositions and jazz standards. Influences: Thelonious Monk, Stan Tracey, Pat Metheny, Mile davis, Jimmi Hendrix.
