Salford Music Festival 9th - 12th September

The Salford Music Festival is a four day festival hosting some of the finest new bands from both Manchester and Salford. The idea behind it was to promote Salford music, and to blend its musical heritage with that of Manchester’s as part of a week long celebration of music and talent.

There will be over 60 live gigs at the Salford Music Festival, plus many fringe events which will be free to attend all across the city. No matter what your music taste is, or how young or old you are, the Salford Music Festival will feature a mixture of music and culture for everyone.

The finale to the festival will include a special line up at The Ritz, Manchester as part of an all day event between 3.00pm - 11.00pm on Sunday September 12th.

The Fall will be headlining this last day of the Salford Music Festival, plus various bands including Lowline, Salford Jets and Girl Peculiar, along with DJ sets from Terry Christian, Clint Boon, Dermo and Same Teens.
