Didsbury Food Market : Saturday 12th June

Launching on 12 June 2010 with a special two-day event to coincide with the annual Didsbury Festival, Didsbury Food Market is a welcome addition to this area of Manchester.

The market will set up on the 2nd Saturday of every month outside Didsbury Library and provide locals and visitors with a refreshing shopping alternative.

Silver Apples of Burton Road, West Didsbury will be selling their delicious homemade and handmade delicacies over the weekend. As well as running the gorgeous Burton Rd cafe bar, Kate and Sarah run a very successful cake business - if you've never tried their cakes before, this is your chance. But get there early - at the last market they did, they sold out by 12.30pm!

The girls specialise in cupcakes of any quantity, will cater to any request and offer free delivery within 5 miles of Didsbury. Be sure to check them out at the first Didsbury Food Market.

Other stalls will be selling top quality produce from fresh fish, poultry and game to freshly baked bread, roasted coffee beans, real dairy ice-cream and all manner of jarred preserves.
