American Beer Tasting at Silver Apples

An evening tasting some of the finest beers in American craft brewing, presented by James Clay in aid of Mencap - at Silver Apples, West Didsbury on 24th February from 7.00pm...

The beers of the USA have traditionally suffered in comparison with their old world counterparts, and most of their reputation is unfairly based on the execrable offerings of the likes of Budweiser, Miller et al.

We at Silver Apples say not so, and are delighted to present an evening in the company of world beer experts James Clay, who will be talking us through a selection of offerings from the most forward thinking brewers operating stateside today. Be amazed at the bang up to date synthesis of traditional English style IPA's and Belgian Tripel style beers, along with weighty stouts, floor shaking porters, spritzy lagers and brown ales.

Tickets of course are very limited, and are available now in Silver Apples, on Burton Road, West Didsbury. Tickets are priced at £10 each, with all proceeds going to Mencap.
